Why call me for repairs and project help?

Some jobs are too small for a contractor to care about, too annoying to keep putting off, and too much of a pain to spend your weekend figuring out. That’s where I fit in.

I like the practical stuff: fixing what’s loose, crooked, damaged, unfinished, or just plain been sitting there waiting for someone to finally handle it. Whether it’s a few shelves in the garage, a closet organizer still in the box, a little drywall repair, trim replacement, or a larger install project, I’m happy to help make progress.

Most requested repairs & project help

Small Repairs

Drywall fixes, hardware adjustments, little troubleshooting jobs, and the repair items that keep piling up.

Assembly & Installations

Furniture, shelving, closet organizers, storage systems, playsets, and the things that definitely did not assemble themselves.

Trim, Doors & Finish Work

Baseboard, casing, interior and exterior doors, and the kind of detail work that makes a room feel finished again.

Bigger Home Projects

Flooring, backsplashes, fencing, garage storage, and other home upgrades that improve how your space works.

The projects that never seem to get done

Every house has them. The shelves you meant to put up months ago. The closet organizer that’s been sitting in the box for two years. The random light switch nobody understands. The loose hardware, the scuffed drywall, the furniture you keep meaning to assemble “this weekend.”

I’m happy to take those jobs off your plate. A lot of what I do is helping people get unstuck on the stuff that keeps getting pushed down the list.

Good fit for:

  • Shelves and garage storage
  • Furniture and closet systems
  • Minor drywall and patch work
  • Door swaps and trim replacement
  • Projects you’re tired of staring at

Small repairs with a real finished look

Small doesn’t mean sloppy. I take the same approach to a little repair or install that I do to bigger work: figure out the right fix, keep it practical, and leave it better than I found it.

That might mean drywall repair, replacing damaged trim or baseboard, solving a door problem, swapping out casing, fixing little annoyances, or helping make a space feel more complete and less “half-finished.”

Bigger project help when you need another set of capable hands

I can also help with more involved home projects like flooring, trim and casing replacements, kitchen backsplashes, partial yard fencing, storage builds, door replacements, and outdoor assembly jobs like playsets.

If you’ve got something that falls into the “I think I need help with this” category, send me a few photos and I’ll let you know if I’m the right fit.

Practical help, not contractor theater

You don’t need a bunch of finger-pointing, inflated overhead, or someone acting like your project is too small to matter. I’d rather be straightforward about what makes sense, what the job needs, and whether I’m the right person for it.

If it’s a fit, I’ll give you an honest recommendation and a fair quote. If it’s not, I’ll tell you that too. No pressure, no weird sales routine, just useful help.

Need help knocking out a project?

If you’ve got a running list of little repairs, an install project you’ve been putting off, or a home upgrade you’d like help with, send me a few photos and a quick description. Texting is usually the easiest way to start.
